Reporting Calculation Errors
Date calculations involve many edge cases — leap years, month boundaries, daylight saving time transitions, and different calendar conventions. If you believe a DateMath calculator has produced an incorrect result, please let us know:
- Which calculator you were using
- The date(s) you entered
- The result you received
- The result you expected and how you calculated it
Common edge cases where users sometimes see unexpected results: dates near leap day (February 29), dates spanning year boundaries, and age calculations for birthdays that have not yet occurred this year. We investigate all reported issues carefully.
Feature Requests
We are always considering new calculators to add to DateMath. Popular requests include:
- Moon phase calculator
- Public holiday countdown by country
- Working hours calculator (time between two date-times)
- Recurring date calculator (every 3 months from a start date)
- Historical calendar converter (Julian to Gregorian)
If you have a date or time calculation need that is not covered by our current tools, please tell us. Specific, well-described use cases are the most helpful.
Time Zone Questions
Time zones are one of the most complex topics in date and time programming. If you are getting unexpected results from our time zone converter or have questions about how a specific time zone works, we are happy to help explain. Please include the time zones involved and what result you expected.
